Lets Mute

Your phone knows when to be quiet.

What it does

Timer

Mute or vibrate for a set duration, with automatic restore and the option to cancel early.

Schedule

Recurring daily or weekly quiet times for the parts of your week that never change.

Location zones

Mute on arrival at a place you choose, with an adjustable radius.

Calendar

One tap silences the phone for exactly the length of a calendar event.

Wi-Fi rules

Mute automatically when the phone joins a network you nominate.

Rules engine

Combine time, location, and network triggers, with priority settings deciding what wins when rules overlap.

The detail

Lets Mute silences an Android phone automatically and then puts the sound back the way it was. Set it once and stop thinking about it.

The free tier covers the timer, calendar day view, Wi-Fi rules for one network, and up to three rules. Pro adds unlimited rules and networks, recurring schedules, location zones, and expanded calendar views. If a subscription lapses, nothing is deleted — premium rules simply pause.

It asks for Do Not Disturb permission because that is the only way Android lets an app change sound modes. It does not read notifications beyond changing the sound mode, does not track or store location history, and needs no account. Android only; there is no iPhone version.
